We would like to welcome Beatrice Awasthi, a first-year graduate student in the BBS PhD program at Harvard Medical School. Beatrice graduated from Cornell with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and an M.Eng in Biomedical Engineering. During her undergrad, she worked in the lab of Dr. David Putnam on the development of a vaccine platform using E. coli-derived outer membrane vesicles as a vaccine adjuvant. During her rotation, Beatrice will work with Sabine and Aya on developing an epigenetic engineering tool and studying macrophage polarization. |
