We would like to welcome Leon Wert-Lamas PhD, a new postdoctoral fellow who is joining the lab from Institute for Biomedical Research “Alberto Sols“ (Madrid, Spain), where he studied the effects of deregulated non-coding RNAs on thyroid cancer progression and dedifferentiation. Specifically, he evaluated the role of non-coding RNAs in thyroid iodide-metabolizing genes, epithelial-mesenchymal transition and PI3K pathway passenger events. Leon will work on the biological discovery and therapeutic applications of lncRNAs.
