We would like to welcome Ribal Bassil MD, joining the Novina Lab as faculty. Ribal is a neurologist currently completing a neurocritical care fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH). Prior to his neurology training, Ribal completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in neuroimmunology at BWH, studying the role of the Notch signaling pathway in T-cell differentiation and function in an animal model of multiple sclerosis. Ribal will be working on identifying unique tumor antigens and developing chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cells against primary brain tumors at the Novina Lab.
